ok hi all im new to this hope you are all doing better than me

ok

i have two ambit modems 1x 120 and 1x 200

after building the max232 getting it all working i cant do anymore it reads the 120 fine but i cant change anything it just keeps running and running I cant stop it to change anything and the 200 does nothing i think its been wiped clean i get nothing it dont even boot up like my 120 does what im asking is can any one help me to get one of them working again i stuck and dont now what to do

forget the 120 mate.

regarding the 200 >>

ive got one exact same mate, only way to get it back to life is to have someone with knowledge take out the chip and manually reflash it as far as i know, seems that your pal has tried to downgrade the firmware and somehow the flash currupted, blah blah blah (or something like that).
