Have sorted things out , i have just got D+ to work via the patch and
loader. Now back to the other buisness of inputting keys. Told you that
you would have to bear with me me. Cheers !!!!!

P.S . I think when folk explain things, they miss out the very simple things,
thinking that newbies will know it already. We all do it, even me !!!

to manually input keys , stay on a d+ channel , press mute and exit , and up comes the cas menu

should be on slot 57 nagravision , digital + (4001)

you will then see 4 rows of numbers

10 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
11 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
20 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
21 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx

when they change u just enter the keys into the corresponding lines

ie if key 00 changes u then change the keys in line 10 and 11
if key 01 changes u change the keys in line 20 and 21

use the up down button on remote to go from line to line , when u get to the line u require use the numbers on the keypad , the cursor will move automatically to the next place after u enter a number , if u need to eneter a letter , then press the info button until the required letter is there then use the left right buttons to advance the cursor , wen all keys have been enetered , press the exit button , then save

Another question !!
When in the darkman loader , if its a patch we are to load , the tab stays
on software, If its Softcam ! the tab is on keys . But what tab do we use
when loading new Sats\Channels etc ???

u would then use the channels tab on the loader

ie if someone was to post a updated sat/channel list , then it would be done via the channels tab on the loader

always best to make a backup of ur own channel list , before putting a new one from someone else onto ur reciever

forums and i thought it would be easier than going through them all.

Yeah thats right.

When i was doing D2mac , i did not have as many probs as a newbie as i
have had here. There was cass menu,s , but not like these , and any editing
you did, you did via software and sent everything through your programmer\
emulater. The idents are the same .( kind of ) We did use key generators
now and again. Anyway thats history now.
