MOSC Update

Ok........got a Nokia STB, with a MOSC. Modified the card last night, but cos its been out the box so long the access keys where well out of date. Rang the cust serv, and asked them to update the card. Apparently the updates been sent, but its not updating the codes 0c or 0d.

Anyone got any idea's????

Use mkfind v4.3 and alter the expiry date to end of dec 2001. Add the November and December monthly keys in 0c and 0d and write to card.Now put your card back in your box on an encrypted channel & hopefully it'll update within half hour.

If that don't work, phone 'em up again & ask to change your channels around.

That should sort out your card then

Guys.....I've got my Mates OSC, but i can't for the life of me work out how I can change the 0c and 0d keys. Anyone care to point me in the right direction???

use mk find<br />get records<br />auto exratract<br />go to key in ondigital 01<br />click tab next to management keys<br />down on the left you will see 0c 0d and 0e codes <br />now just select and over write <br />make sue boxes are ticked and select write keys tab.<br />disconect

M8 gave me his sisters OSC to modify, when I modified it the expire date was 31 oct, didn't realise the date was no good, she used it and told me that it would'nt work,<br />but low and behold the next day it updated to 30 jan, how can this be everyone says that if you miss more than a month you have to ring them up to get it going again, whats going on..... <img src="graemlins/helpme.gif" border="0" alt="[helpme]" />

Welshboy, I** are constantly sending out update signals, the only reason you would need to ring them is if you didnt want to wait for the updates. The cards will usually update within a couple of hours.

This cards not been used since sept. Dondee.....did what u said, but within the operational keys\managment keys section its all greyed and there's nothing in it.....what am I doing wrong????
