all i can say is THANKS to Modshack, in fact thanks to ALL Forums and hope you all continue, long live the FREEDOM..to join..<br />lets do what we all joined for to help others in our chosen interests, and keep our interests no matter what.<br />Forums dont survive without members, so let the strength come from the MEMBERS!!!

It is sad that traders have yet again ruined it for all us genuine (sic) people who download hexes for their own use. I read posts on a daily basis on both forums but do not generally post as most problems I encounter are normally covered on another previous post (I have asked questions before and received patronising "If you had read ....") So I understand Mickies sentiments about not posting but there are probably many people like me who are not technically literate on digital knowledge to feel confident enough to debate. Thanks for all those who have given help anyway as we do rely on you.

Glad to see, you all had a look at the link I suggested, that Forum is beyond belief, they are so blatent about what they are selling that they may as well walk up and down the high street wearing a sandwich board to sell their goods. what I do find puzzling it that I** haven't closed them down, I can't help thinking that it suits their purposes to let it continue, lets face it if I** want info on how their system is being compromised they only have to look into that forum and its all there for the reading. you don't need to register unless you want to post, and the sight is very easy to find using a search engine. I don't know if this site is one of the reasons modshack and other sites have closed, but from the look of it, they haven't helped matters.

and catkin you should be able to vouch for me as when i was on there you was on there chat remember about 3 in the morning yesterday (atomic)
right first of all i have to explain myself (which i should not have to do) i have been informed by 3 of my members that use there chat that the so called L1oN fella that works there was slagging me off. well i wanted to see for myself so i went on there as JungleK1ng i did not metion anything about Digital World just asked about good forums to see what lion had to say... and the nice atomic (also catkin here) gave me a list of forumz and was very helpful <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> and then i left simple as that
i went there also today as the same guy and funny lion Kicked me off the server for know reason ???? how strange funny that.
so i was a bit pissed of with that so i decided to check them out (port scan) which i know any of them would have done to me so dont say they would'nt and its not illegal either... i found an open netbus session... thinking that they have a hole in there linux (oh and you can get netbus on linux FFS) and thats the end of it.
until gazer just tells me im on there main page ??? im thinking what the FOOK i never told anyone this... then i remembered that i told wolverine (who works for them) in a private chat with ME, Wolverine, Diamond... now i thought i would do the good thing and tell them that they could have a problem... which turned out to be there security software, but it could have been a Trojen then they would b thanking me for spotting this.
now the only thing i did was try to help them after i had been slagged off by there moderator, and look at the thanks i get.
all i do is praise modshack and i think there a gr8 site and look how i get treated ????????????????????

This thread is developing into a very interesting one, even though it started out about another forum (we don’t mind <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> )
There have been some very good points mentioned. But there is another, which I thought I would point out (as Mickie is to modest lol).<br />Mickie spends a lot of time with this forum, and works very hard to bring about the opportunity for people to mix and share resources, as I am sure nearly everyone that has ever posted will appreciate.
I know that he enjoys his hobby, but there must be loads of times when he would rather be getting on with his life. But someone's lost a few posts or can't get logged on using a wrong password or something like that.
The popularity of the forums is a measure of his success. The forum grows each day with input from its members, so if you want to be part of the best community its up to you lot to make some contribution. You don’t need to be a Techie, just friendly. Or do you walk past everyone you see without saying a word.<br />He will probably kill me for making this post lol. (It’s a joke folks, he won't).
I had only ever used a computer for playing games with the kids up until about 12 months before I joined up here. I did a course at college, got some great qualifications, but no real experience.
Mickie gave me the chance, which in turn gave me confidence. And I have enjoyed almost every minute here.
Consider it your duty to make a post once in a while. Just try and make it a slightly interesting if you can. But in an appropriate forum. As this one has wandered off somewhat.
Advice to boss: Dont get dragged in m8. You're to good for that.

I agree with what most people are saying, this link highlights what most of us think, that traders are ripping everyone off!
I've not made any posts till know, i dont' know enough aobut PC's or Hex files etc, but it does make great reading. I've also met the 'king' and i'm all shook up, a' ha.
I'd be realy interested in any info regards learning 'hex', i've mastered the simple card programming but i think i'm going to have to become more self suficient and learn the whole process myself. Any clues ? anyone?

I agree with what you guys are saying. I come here to read and to learn and thanks to you, me and the king are getting along great. I don't post that often because my questions have already been asked (and answered!) by someone else. But if you can go a full year without having something to say about what is apparently an interest to you or to poeple who share your 'interest'(no matter how trivial, untechnical or poorly spelt) surely you can't be that interested.
Mickie.<br />Ive been a member of this forum for some time now number 430,never got past a 1 star newbie but thats ok because i got something better,Knowhow,<br />from people like yourself and other members past and present who shared your knowlege with people like me it seems a shame that because of traders you feel you should go underground,which would deprive all potential new members an education in programming,and education being the prime reason for starting the forum,and if you do go underground it means the traders have won.i for one hope you dont have to do that maybe you can work something out...Good luck...Bilbee... <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> <img src="frown.gif" border="0">
