Most other countries using a phone while driving is aceptable. Although driving standards in those countries are shocking. An all out ban in the UK with heavy penalties is the only way. The younger generation can be arogant to the law as social media is part of every day life.
Here in Norway, the fines are about £110, but most people use their phones anyway.. Most new cars have BT solutions, but people obviously don't know how to use it!
