Might be a backup program on the cd itself to make a backup. Not seen the cd myself just a guess....

Thanks for the help lads. huggi I tryed useing clone the way you said but it will not read the cd at all none of the buffers fill up at all they just stay at 0%I let it run for about 7 mins but not a thing

If its possible, and it sounds as though it is then perhaps its about time to upgrade your burner.

Thanks speccy what burner do you think I should upgrade to

it took me about 2 hours 2 read the disc m8 try this before u upgrade ur burner. But if u still want to upgrade ur burner then get a 16x plextor (i not long brought one for £100) it is without a doubt the best writer.

forgot to say make sure u read to the hard drive NOT on the fly(disc to disc)

Thanks huggi m8 I am useing a 12 speed Ricoh with justlink I will give it a try and leave it a bit longer
Thanks stevr6

Depending on your budget then your man is correct. Cant go wrong with 16x Plextor.

Thanks huggi I got there in the end it may have takeing 3 hours but I got there thanks m8
