Max232 and NTL 250 connections

Have u done this??
Make a new folder on your c:\ drive i.e called 250modem
extract the "250hack_dump_telnet.bin" into it.
extract the file "tftpd32.exe" into the same folder or your desktop

make sure when in tftp32.exe you browse to the correct location of the bin file which in this case would be c:\250modem.

make sure your network settings reflect these static entries
Set your IP address to: 192.168.100.10
Set your GateWay to: 192.168.100.1

I have been away for a week so i have not had a chance to try anything. I did notice in another thread on here about someone getting their 250 to work by renaming the telnet file so it it does not have a .bin extension. I cannot see how that is going to make a difference but there is no point in knocking it till you have tried it. So i am going to try it again tonight.

Try turning ur firewall off.
Just flashed an old 200 to sigmaX and I was getting the timeout error. Was amused as I'd not experienced it prior to reading your post, then got a little irked! But I turned my firewall off, and it did the trick, was able to send the file and all went well!
