Magic Eye Problem With 2 Vu+ Duo Boxes

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if you could help me.

I used to have 2 sky boxes and was able to change channels perfectly from other televisions in my house with magic eyes.

That was setup by:

Sky Boxes > Global SPC4 Combiner > Global F180 8 Way Splitter > Televisions with magic eyes.

I now have the same setup but with 2 Vu+ Duo Boxes.

When both boxes are connected with the SPC4 combiner it will not allow me to change the Vu+ Duo channels on the Tv's with magic eyes.

However when I connect one of the Duo boxes directly into the F180 Splitter, the channel changing on the magic eye tv's work. (however this means only 1 box can be distributed, which is not ideal!)

So the problem I have found is with the Global SPC4 Combiner.

Has anyone got a solution for this problem? Is there a different combiner that will work?

My splitter amplifier is in my loft, does the product above combine 2 feeds into one? And will I have to run the infrared cable to both boxes in my house?

Also, the two duo boxes are in different rooms so this is going to be tricky to feed the same infrared cable to both?
