Lutron Upgrade path

I have access to an old lutron system (8 years old) It is supported by the HomeWorksQS Stuff- Are there certain versions of the software that go with certain versions of hardware or do they make the software work with all revisions of the hardware? I'm wondering if I'm going to have to buy a new processor

Is the system illuminations or homework qs?

If you have a HomeWorks processor, I am pretty sure that you can upgrade the processor.
the issue you will have is the newer Lutron software isI tied to Lutron accounts, which means you will need to pass the training.

The last Lutron HomeWorks QS programming software that was open (before they locked them) is 10.7.0

That would be the furthest point in time that you can upgrade without needing a professional to do the upgrade and programming for you, and you could teach yourself if you had the time, all programming software above 10.7.0 is locked to dealers and qualified programmers.
