You could install bluestacks or similar, and use a modded apk version.

If it is just to stop ads, I find ublock works a treat when I use youtube.

Go to one of the various DMs and look for the accounts. You can get them for like 50p a pop.

On desktop i have Opera browser and Adblock and no issues for ads.
Android tv is a nightmare for ads with YouTube.

Premium is cool no ads. Plus, you can download videos to watch offline—and you can play videos in the background while you use other apps. YouTube Music Premium is included in your YouTube Premium membership as well. love it!

ublock origin works fine on YT. If you've got issues with it, then check out the reddit post from them, you need to update, disable your custom lists and some other stuff too.
