Ken Livingstone. London's elected mayor. Former New Labour MP. Quit after he got shafted by the party. The people and buisnesses of London wanted Ken. The Labour members wanted Ken. But Labour wanted a puppet, so put forward one of Tony's cronies. Ken quit to stand as an independant candidate for the mayor's job... and won. Still in the job now but is starting to prove unpopular with some of his transport plans (e.g. the ever increasing cost congestion charging).
