Does a funny story count? Used to support GP surgeries using SCO Unix. Engineer managed to use Vi to create a text file at the root called '*' - then did

rm *

at root, as root. Backups also were quite out of date.

Windows experts, how would you do this?

grep -B 2 -A 2 '192.168.1.1' /var/log/syslog

Shows the two lines before and the two lines after the line containing '192.168.1.1' in syslog.
