The dish in the kit is only 57cm the single dish is 80cm.

You can get BBC1, 2, 3, 4 and ITV3, Sky News, music video chans, Digital Radio and hundreds more all for free. So great for those without freeview or cable in their area.
Just cos it dont suit you Fatboy dont mean its not a good deal.

That is a very good deal indeed. The big surprise would be if the receiver is patchable. It's probely a clone of some other receiver. We shall find out.

believe it's a version of the previous Lidl Comag with slightly different software so although not immediatley will assume won't be long before the elastoplast turns up.Don't think it's much use for a motor unless someone knows something.

I wouldnt get the system for patching and using for european sat. It is ideal for use as a free-sat system to get loads of choice of free channels from the 'uk sky platform'.
It is a great cheap deal, ideal for a bit of simple DIY, great fun and will get more channels than basic terrestrial that millions stick with, plus fantastic quality digital picture. No uk home should be without it.

Some of the chans you will get free-
BBC1 -all regions, inc. Scotland for football ; BBC2; BBC3 ; BBC4 ; Cbeebies ; CBBC
ITV3 (hopefully more ITV chans soon) & possibly 'More4' the new channel from Ch4 by the end of the year.

leaflet lies then, no chance of getting sky channels with the receiver. Maybe its the dish that they say can get sky because that would be correct.
