i have 100's of channels - tbh they are all shite lol, i really need to stop my habit of downloading shows/films so that i can view them at my own leisure. Oh no thats right thats what virmin and co.want me to do with they're cheesy V+.
you can download approximately a 1hr show in 3minutes, therefore 10hrs tv in 30minutes, no fookin adverts pause and rewind function, store forever, no waiting for us shows to arrive on our screens. select what you want when you want and no card to ever go off. Fook me hacking cable is a hobby, i personally don't actually watch it or sky for that matter lol.

Just as a side issue, while my popcorn is getting refilled... 
I'm in Devon, and we're not n3 yet, however VM have been messing about with the channels down here, as we lost lots over the last couple days. (Status page showed nothing happening here) Channels lost included FTV and PayTV. I've got it all back to normal though, just needed a rescan and swapping things around my custom bouquets.

I have been following this thread for a while and im sure im not the only one who has noticed that it has gone a little off topic.
As we are all aware Leeds has now gone completly N3 and at the moment there is not a lot more to be said about it, so I think it is time for this thred to be closed.
I also think that Emarald is completly out of order with his comments about another members other half, This is a comunity forum for people to help each other and share opinions, there is no need to get personal and abusive.

So has Leeds gone N3 and no channels are left? my lass bought a dm600c for her parents for chrsitmas hahaha guess the surprise is going to be short lived

Indeed lol, but the good news is the tuner is plug and play so order a tuner for satellite for about 20 quid and your happy again

I'm afraid you will if Leeds is anything to go by. The terrestrial freeview service yields more channels than cable FTA here.

No. They've done a proper number on us. We've got 1-5, CBBC, CBeebies, BBC News and that's about it.

FTA and virmin do not really fit in the same sentence, a similar turnout to sly infact.
when i switched to sly some time ago for tv we went fta on virmin cos we kept the BB i think it was. I noticed immediately i couldn't get virgin1 so i rang em. "not FTA on cable" jokers lol.
recently i switched back to cable becuase sky would not renew a discount they promised to renew!! They said i could use my sly box for fta in one of the bedrooms. Guess what?? half the fta stuff missing again. to cap that all off the fookin idiots actually had the cheeky to send me half price for a year offer immediately i cancelled cos i couldn't keep my £8 per month discount. idiots
Right now they can all get fooked cos i am FTA'ing the lot of them and i will be doing so for a very long time to come - i am sick of getting the rough arse BS from these people.
What kind of BS is it that if you go large on a tv package you don't get the +1's on some of the channels you actually receive.?? You pay for 20meg services and watch 4meg services get upgraded free of charge to 10meg services..
I will celebrate Xmas day by giving my self an 80Mbit connection and watching as much tv as i fookin like
