Hi Peeps,

I'm decorating my living room at the moment (Been at it all day with a stripper : spook :)

Anyway my question is, we currently have laminate flooring down and it's tongue & groove flooring that was glued together at the time it was laid.

I really want to lift it before getting the carpet but I think it might be a bit of a pain to get it seperated and lifted.

Should I just get the carpet on top of it? OR lift the flooring before getting the carpet?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Have any of you peeps been in the same predicament?

it comes apart no problem even if glued.
you can carpet over it if you want but why would you m8?

you got a body buried underneath or something?

I second that, I have recently lifted some old lamintate flooring myself
Once you get started in a corner, it comes apart no problem.

Great stuff, Thanks for all your advice peeps.

I'll lift it then :)

Stick a good pair of gloves on m8 as it can be razor sharp when it splits.
I lifted a 22 foot by 11 foot room glued laminate in about 10 mins its a doddle but watch it as i say it can slice your skin
