Katona held captive by armed gang

Armed robbers held a knife to the neck of former pop star Kerry Katona during a raid on her Cheshire home.

Three masked men, carrying sledgehammers and crowbars, broke into the home she shares with husband Mark Croft in Wilmslow on Sunday night.

They kept the former Atomic Kitten and the couple's baby Heidi downstairs as they took Mr Croft around the house looking for things to steal.

Cheshire police said the gang escaped with goods worth about £150,000.

That included a BMW M5 sports car with the registration WF06 KMM, two laptops, two gaming machines and two televisions, including a 42-inch plasma screen, and jewellery.


Luckily they weren't hurt, but Kerry was held at knifepoint and the robbers threatened to kill them

Mr Croft was secured in a room with Katona and Heidi while the robbers got away.

Katona has two other daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue, by her former husband, Westlife singer Brian McFadden.

However, the girls were not in the house at the time.
