just got my krptview....cant get it to work

just got my kryptview from tmc today (cheers mate0

i was told the latest firmware is all loaded

how do i get t to work though

i havent got a null modem cable- do i need one to get channels working out of the box if the firmware is preloaded?

i can get the virgin central and filmflex preview and on demand preview channels then the rest are DL1 all the way to DL27 . The channels range from 2000 (virgin central) to 2035 (home epg service)

i am in excw 666.75 an net id 41047

i did an auto scan put it comes complete (exit) an there is nothing

complete newb with these boxes here so any help is appreciated

Hi go to installation and then automatic search. Choose network scan only and provider cw. Press green button on the remote. scan for for a bit and list of net ids will come up choose yours and press ok. It will scan for channels and exit. Got to channel 101 and see if that is working it should update within minutes.

right got the channels thanks to mash (simple when you know how)

however a load of channels are pixellated

itv, ch4, e4, e4+1, sky premier, sky screen 1 etc

these were fine with my old pace 2000

any tips?

ok i sorted it out, i put the cable feed into the output rather than the input and now everything is fine...all channels come up perfectly...is this a known issue and solution?
