while looking for an xbox in the cupboard, i found a wii (like you do lol)

i bought this 2nd hand about 18 months ago, and the one day it worked fine, then the next day, just a black screen, its not been modded in any way

can anything be done with this?

Have you any lights ?

If so completely power down your system by pressing the power button for 10 seconds

If no lights there is a fuse inside the wii, it might be that.

yeh it lights up, but dont do anything, just a plain black screen

There is a few fixes on the Nintendo site for black screen.

think it may be the graphics chip then, as it turns on and off fine, but when its on, its just a plain black screen

took the lid off, theres a modchip fitted but even with another drive in its still the same, so where are the cards i should be looking for then? im gonna have to strip it right down aint i?

yep right down to the motherboard,two little cards that just pull off,one has wires attached

bluetooth

the wireless one looks similar but has wires attached,more than likely could be the bluetooth card though
