Iptv list updater dreambox800 se

Hi there does anyone know if there is IPTV list updater available for DM800se clone and how to insert it ..thanks for your time

What sim you on ?

Officially that plugin is OE2.0 but if you unpack it and send it to

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions

Then it should run.

Sorry for the late reply...I have 2.10 sim dm800se clone with newnigma image

So your on a OE1.6 image

Follow the instructions above to install it.

Newnigma is not a good image for these type of plugin but you can try it.

I have the same box but I am running the Digitalworldz image 1.1.
I've got Windows 8 on PC

Donwload 7-zip that will extract it.

FTP it to

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions

Reboot and with anyluck it will show in the plugins menu.

I extracted the 3 files mate, I've got a control.tar.gz, data.tar.gz and debian-binary.

Do I put all 3 of them into /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions?

I'm not going to do anything until I know I'm doing it right.

You have not expanded it enough

Double click data.tar and keep double clicking the folders until you get to the IPTV List updater folder you want that folder only

Send it to

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions

Well mate I installed it and it gave an error message about bad magic number in a pyo file ???

Any ideas??

Not compatible with that image then mate I did mention newnigma not been ideal.

Well that strange mate as the DW image is based on OpenPli

And I can install the IPTV Updater plugin with the tips ive shown you above.

Any way I did a backup image with the iptv updater plugin included as well as other IPTV plugins for a sim2 800se here

Why not try that backup image.

Thought I'd give the other ones you posted a go again and managed to get v0.90 working , so its all good
