iPhone iPhone 4s Battery Problem/s

My daughters 4s keeps shutting itself off at random times, fully charging the battery still not helping. Is this a hardware/software fault? Anything I could try to resolve myself before buying a new battery?

You could try updating and turning gps off or resetting phone.

If that doesn't work then new battery but be carefull not to thread screws on bat connector. Be carefull when removing bat connector you dont want to remove pads.

It's on latest IOS, GPS is also off, haven't tried resetting yet, I'll give that a go and see what happens

Do you have a jailbreak? this can influence

You can also do a clean restore aver if that solves.
