Hi, I have never made a intranet site before and have limited experience with building internet sites what i'm trying to find out is, I have just made myself a Debian media server which is going to be used to stream music and films around the house using mediatomb and what I want to do is make a simple intranet site with just a search bar on it so anyone on my network can search through all the films and music so my dad doesn't keep downloading stuff that's already on there basically and it will make things a lot easier when it starts to mount up.
First off is this possible to make a site that just searches a few directories on my server and if so how would be the best way to go about or what should I start to read up on, going off the searches I've done I keep getting wordpress multi site popping up. Any help would be great, cheers.
