iPhone installing .rar apps

OK, so i've got a bunch of apps that are in rar format, when I open them I either have 2 folders

macosx
application name

or

payload (folder)
itunes artwork

my question is what the hell do I do with them.

I've tried to make a .app folder and dumping the contents of the rar in and loading itunes, i've tried just loading the .ipa that is in application name folder.

I've tried extracting just the application name folder and making it a .app folder

none of which work

I've googled till im blue but still am not really sure

any advice???

right click the folder .rar folder and click extract here then you shoud see a .app or something like that

ahh, sweet, will give it a go, don't think I've ever actually used the extract button, normally just drag and drop
