We have reprogrammed the CPU in the TM-800 HD in order to better support the software core and application levels. We are asking all TM-800 HD owners in UK to kindly return their product (complete with remote, etc) to our Headquarters at:

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

If you would like to come to us, we can reprogram the CPU whilst you wait and also download the latest software.

If sending, we will compensate £8 towards your postage. Please include a copy of your receipt, address and telephone number. Once we receive your TM-800 HD, we will send it out to you within 2 working days. It will be returned to you free-of-charge.

We will also update your TM-800 HD to the latest software:

Fixed in 30/11/10 software:
1. No more freezing on HD channels
2. Signal and signal lock have been fixed and also sensitivity has increased
3. OSD speed has been improved
4. Card reader OK
5. Performance improved
6. USB mount fixed
7. Default channel list supported
8. PVR Record & Play fixed (except trick play)

By 6/12/10:
1. PVR trick play
2. AC3 & stereo sound fixed (when AC3 changes to stereo)

By 23/12/10:
1. Web-x TV
2. Media player
3. Network samba
4. Trick play
5. Others

Hopefully this will sort out the many issues. Just wondered if for our international friends if Technomate send out the CPU programming code with instructions? Would be handy I suppose

Kewl Dude...Just trying to be helpful Mate

Just put the 13Dec image on this damn box and still getting problems with box crashing, (when switching between HD channels the cogs appear and seems to hang)

although I did auto scan the channels (SLY UK) obviously there are duplicates that cause box to crash but more worryingly the previous image I had installed (10-07) was working fine then last evening all channels displaying Tuner Failed.....Did rescan an showed at least 200 channels missing.

Put latest (dec 13th) image and now all the channels appear (with duplicates) and no Sky Box office in the all channels list (although I noticed it was there when scanning)

Do you think the box is crocked or possibly the CPU fix may cure the problem?

I'd appreciate any help with the expensive brick?

You might risk bricking your machine.

All new images are only suitable for jtagged boxes. Use at your own peril.

Well that will teach me to do my homework first (boo hoo). Ok so I now understand Jtagged MODs....

The Box is still alive...so I guess I need to reverse the changes.

What if any is a good image for a non Jtagged box?

Any help appreciated guys

Will get it Jaggd....but not before xmas tho (due to bad weather, post, etc)
Have reverted back to Digi's TM800-UR-1.0.0-11/06/10.

Will try using internet updated function. Lessons learned I think :-(

You can't update the image over the internet as the internet update needs a jtagged box also.

on an un-jtagged receiver, you can only use images dated BEFORE 29-11-10
