ok i have loaded Nabilosat Darkstar II DM500 Exclusive CCcam 2.1.2
i have a trial from a server ..
BUT we cant find where to put the config line in the image
its driving me mad the box is set up ready to go its on my pc ftp
i can see all the files just not the Ccam file .....doghhh
 
cccam.cfg should be in /var/etc.

If it's missing just make one in notepad, put your lines in it and upload.
 
i have found one i added my lines
C: pootoyou.biz 12000 Jay2 tomail
C: pootoyou.biz 13000 Jay2 tomail
i uploaded this via ftp but as a txt file do i need to rename it to Cccam.cfg ?
i put it in the folder you mention
im gona try put a few diff ones in there lol

Delete everything in the doc mate and paste your 2 lines in... nothing else. rename file to Cccam.cfg. save then upload to box

i must be being dumb
for the life ov me no matter what i try i cant get it to work
im 100% my lines will allow me on and i know the server is up
Now could this be the problem ???
i can ftp to the box via my spare network card
this is over homeplugs to the box from my pc on the spare network card

this is normally used for the xbox and this xbox can access xbox live on auto config no manual settings

so ASSumed that it should be ok !! i tried it direct to the modem also !!
im just missing something i think its wood for the trees as ive been reading and farting around for hours !!
someone spare me plz lol

i really hope they are bogus Clines coz if they are for real.........gonna be a few tryin them lol
 
I assume you have got something like dyndns.com host configured with your router for C/S?
 
I thought he didnt need to do this if he is sharing from somebody elses c/s

Does he just need the cline........
 
yehh its some ones server not mine !!
and i dont have a router
what i have is my pc direct to my modem , then a extra card in the pc that set up to allow my xbox 360 to connect to the internet
as i mentioned its open so there's no need to config the xbox it just connects and shares the net with the pc !!
Now i did try the box wired to the internet modem direct also not working

so i possibly have 2 issues but i would have assumed if i reboot modem and bang it straight in the box it should connect ...

ARGGHH plz i know its fec all of an issue i just wan see it work

ohh forgot to add it says starting Ccamm and some numbers when i switch to a sub channel so i assume its got a Cccam installed as it did say that on the image

Ok i think im a step closer
i DL Nabilosat darkstar II from the orig source i then dl Cccam from inside the image , I then found the cccam.cfg file
this i edited in ftp and sent it back
But Only a few channels clear i know there working as when i press the blue button i can see a line of my Clines in the info and the card icon goes green
So i have had it slightly working
Im gona try get a trial from a diff provider and see if theres works better

Any one have any ideas what the prob could be ?

got a new line and im up and running
Now for a 8000hc clone in the new yr and a motorised dish
i may well tel telepest where to stick there shite tv just now as the picture quality even in non hd on a dm500s is a lot better
if i get time i will try knock up a guide as i made fooking hard work of it
that being said the 1st image and the lines i was given where both poo
so i would have had it cracked in no time ..
all is good now tho
