thanks to all those that have helped me since sunday to fit a new hard drive...........crash my whole machine.......and then get me back on again by using the phone and the works computer.

a big thanks goes to daveh who rung me last nite to say that he was suprised that someone with no computer knowledge was able to fit a new hard drive.......and get it to work.

we are all here to help each other and some members go out of their way to make sure you fully understand what you are about to do.........unfortunatly i didnt and thats why ive been off most of the week.

Buck...i have written davidh...he shall send you any OS that can get your PC working again. We did not know you have no full OS on CD.
I really thought you have already installed an OS on the new hdd...
I would have rang you too, but had no phone number...lol.
Hope you receive the CD soon and will be able to install it.

You have done good work yet for a beginner. Congrats buck.
