I don’t understand why this is not built in to the firmware in the first place. My Beelink device has a one click app killer application built into the Home Screen and both the Minix devices I previously owned also had it built in.

Just looked on my Shield and 22 apps running in background. Background apps and utilities is a ballache as still have to close apps 1 by 1.
Hopefully this task killer available soon.

yeah i run it daily it seems to work okay or at least it shows memory freed up never notice any improvement in performance with it

I like the button that checks for running apps on TD's though. I will try it when released.
