Humax irci 5400 question

Hi guyz,i have been reading the forum for a while & think its great,please keep up the good work.I have a quik question about the Humax irci5400 satellite receiver i have purchased second hand.I am trying to take off the parental guidance password pin,which i do not know,it shows up on the adult channels etc.I am sure i remeber seeing how to do this by pressing a certain colour buttons on the remote control.Im sure there is a engineers standard factory code to remove this,have any of you guyz come acroos this at all.Any advie would be great,

all the humax i have worked with have had a default pin of 0000 to access the installation menu where you can reset things on the receiver

To reach a 'manufacturer' hidden menu, in the STB Status menu, press

[red] [green][yellow] [blue] [white] then select one of the following options

0 - Reset pin Number
1 - Loader Download
2 - Application download
3 - Eeprom data download
4 - Channel data download

A dialog box confirming the selected option should now appear.

Hi Glassman, you should be able to go into the menu, and just do a factory reset, this will set everything back to default, but off course you will then have to set up all the Satellites and Favourites Lists again.
