Phone Unlocking HTC Touch 3G - Need automatic lock and disable volume hardware buttons

I have a HTC Touch 3G phone, the volume buttons keep getting pressed whilst the phone is locked in my pocket and turn the ring volume down to silent. Does any one know how I can get my phone to auto lock after a amount of time of inactivity and also disable the hardware volume buttons whilst looked. I know that I can manually lock the phone by holding the hangup button but this still doesn't disable the hardware volume buttons.

There is a setting within the settings tab to disable hardware buttons..Think it might be in the power settings..
However, this is brilliant...and free.
