it cannot detect flash "NO FLASH DETECTED", "Please connect Cable to Device" , "Error Device not Connect"
can't flash again or do anything ?
Power/Send Lights are off . Others lights are On..
Any one knows how to get it the life back ?
i think i connected ethernet cable while flashing?????
i think its ST M28 W160CB Chipset?????///
i killed My Modem
PLEASE HELP ME...

It sounds ok if it detects the broadcom.
Do a write all (flash tab)with files form the download section.
Personally i would put back the motorola firmware and put a working mac on to make sure everthings ok.
Best way is to start it flashing and leave the pc alone.
Go out or do it before you go to bed.
Messing with the pc while it's flashing is why it goes bad half the time me thinks??

I can't flash because it can't detect flash "NO FLASH DETECTED"

and i can't go to 192.168.100.1 page?

thanks for replying

you will need to get someone to read the memory tab then write it to yours.

try this mate

try this http://www.world-of-digital.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58566
this firmware and flash(write all) and bootloader has helped me out numerous times whether it was a 5100i/5101e and 5100 has always recovered a bad flash...whats your jtag lead? straight through or buffered? if its straight through try this one http://www.world-of-digital.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=12459&d=1140364465 needs 5 100 ohm resisters and a 74ls244 chip but it is highly recomended as i have never had anyproblems with mine(even if lights arnt light up at all this fimware has recovered it)
hope this helps
if you tell me the exact model im sure i got the (everything for it) ie flash/memory/firmware and bootloader(except the 5100e) but im sure name can help u there

i think i screwed up jtag and board stuff with soldering now
it can't do anything?

rx tx

dunno mate never used em in fact never ever soldered on off these modems...when i made my lead i used the little front panel conectors from a motherboard (where the lights on a pc case wire into the motherboard) and as long as this 10 pin header is sitting at an angle it never fails...will get camera sorted soon and take pictures of what i mean (realy makes these suckers easy) keep your eye on this post

whats TX and RX on pict?
the picture in the above link is showing tx,rx,v,g pinouts that are used to attach a serial cable to(on an sb5100)..are you trying to build a serial cable or a jtag cable(or both)?..if your bootloader/code has been corrupted, jtag is what you need..didn't i send you a flash dump?

if you still need it,pm me with your email addrs
