hoover nextra not spinning

hoping someone could help.
I got a hoover nextra 1600 washing machine.
it wont drain or spin.
i have checked there are no blockages but nothing aparant.
when i put on spin it just moves like washing(water still in) but just turns as if wahing clothes.
Any pointers appreciated

If its not draining then it points to a pump problem m8.
It wont spin whilst its still full of water.

as ianb says - it wont spin with water in it. If the filter is clean, have a look where the sump hose (black rubber pipe from the tub to pump) joins the pump -- coins can get stuck here because they are too big to reach the filter

drained it and it did spin but also saw big crack in drum as water pissing out top .
scrapyard bound .
