Hmmmm ongoing problems with my SB4100...

Every few days i seem to lose connectivity. There is no connection and when the modem is booting i can see this in the logs...

I have also noticed that no matter what mac i use, my router is showing the same ip all the time. Which is strange is it not?

Im currently using my mums SB5100 who lives 6 doors away from me and that shows the same ip on my router (Draytek 2900VG) as it did for the 10Mb mac i was using up until yesterday!

Any thoughts would be great!

check to see if the dhcp function is enabled in the configuration page, if u still have problems try reflashing the firmware. just 2 ways i'd try.

yep dhcp is checked.

its really funny, cause its like now, im online with the modem, and downloading from 2 ftp sites at about 250Kbps. But webpages are really slow from time to time.... but it kinda comes right again. but in a few days time i wont be able to do anything again

try to flash ur firmware again, check the frequency setting on the modem make sure its set right, i'd hope its a firmware issue!
As for ur ip not changin mine dont either unless i change nic, if u use a different nic which iteself has a mac address it gives u a different ip addy!
