More info please, what are you connecting to make and model, what are you removing? what is the picture of ?

electricity is dangerous, as you are asking these question you should really pay a professional to install it.

Yeah I’ve looked at a few videos cant find the eco24 but but found a few videos some connect to 24 and some to 230 so a bit confused as to which

is the 24v not for opentherm control? If so I believe hive does not work on opentherm.

I spoke to a sparky and he wired his into the 230v but be careful as you can blow your pcb board if not wired correctly.

Put a voltmeter on it and switch it on.

if this is the correct guide then you will connect to the 24v RT for the hive

Single/Dual Channel Receiver Wiring - Hive Active Heating Installation Manual [Page 8] | ManualsLib

so take a pair of wires from 24v RT to pins 1 & 3, you will require a 240vac feed to N & L

it looks like the existing stat is 240v and connected to RT 230v
brown & blue power and the earth has been used to switch the heating on, you should be able to disconnect and remove the cable from the boiler

Hope it helps

Thank you, so only 1 wire to 230v rt and other cable to the live ?
No he said two wires to 230v rt as they act as on off. The other three are live, neutral and earth.
