Just hoping that somebody can give me some help on flashing a Hitachi 47 using Dos rather than Windows. Currently running XP with a VIA6421 PCI card which works perfectly fine when flashing my Benq with Jungleflasher and PortIO. However when I try to connect the Hitachi Windows takes forever to boot and just locks up when it finally does log-in. I have been reading that Hitachi's don't like 6421 chipsets. Could this be my problem and if so what can I do to resolve it? I have had this problem before with my original 360 before Microsoft kindly exchanged it for a Benq and I am sure I fixed it by flashing the Hitachi in Dos. If anybody can tell me which tools I need it would be appreciated as I have attempted this several times to no avail. I can get the drive into ModeB by using Slax, I can get the PC to boot into windows with my Via drivers uninstalled and only running with PortIO but Jungleflasher won't see the drive.

Thanks in advance

Liam
