hidden virus in my email adds book

for some time now ive had emails from friends stating that they were receiving emails from me with links.one of these links was for viagra.that would be funny except my young niece, maiden aunt, grandson got this message and contacted me.Most people in my adds book have received some sort of bogus email, sometimes just blank.Ive put two virus checkers on my comp and a couple of dodgie files were dealt with.Ive just had another email from a friend in australia stating he had received four blank emails from me.I also removed all emails adds from the book,consequently i can only reply to emails not send them.ideas please

Do you use the same e-mail address for MSN?

My daughter had her MSN hacked by a bot of some kind, it mailed all her MSN contacts everyother day.

If so try changing your MSN password, did the trick for her.
