Help with card please

hi guys.

i have an ntl card that i am trying to make a mosc card with. I dont need the BK or IRD from it.
I am just trying to clear it and write to it.

i have already unlooped the card

i am using nagra edit

when i try to use one step clean i get:

have you tried a program called mrom
its in the d/l area

i have reset the card with mrom and there is no change in nagra.

I actually have 2 cards that are exactly the same

2 cards the same probably equals a programmer setup problem, especially SetIFS problems. Check nagra is running win98 compatability mode

i have set it up the way i done another card with no problems.

I have also tried it in win98 mode and having infinity and nagra using just 1 cpu each with no joy

try mrom again m8 and go tho the whole proses with it m8

do you have the image that is on the cards? maybe the b04 blocker image that's around? still suspect setup problems though

i have tired a few images and im not sure what was the last one :Mad2:

is there a way to see if has the blocker image on it?

i'm having the same problem with a ROM11 B09 i just don't understand why it wont read when it has managed to read the card before amd MROM will reconise it but nagra wont?

have you had any joy?

i used this rom11bdk.d2c and it let me into a card

not sure if it would work for you.

i am quite new to this aswell.

im running vista and infinity unlimited over vcp and when i get setifs failed i just exit vcp mode, wait 10 secs then re enter it and try again and usually works for me

Setiffs is normally a communications problem between the computer and the programmer make sure you have everything set right and if yuor using an infinity unlimited try these settings
Settings in programmer s/w >>OPTIONS>>GENERAL, the following boxes ticked, remember directory on file load, beep when done, disable verify of ext eeprom
Advanced, Autodetect cpu before write/read/erase
Startup Check for new updates, Show splashscreen

ADVANCED (at bottom of screen) Mode 1 off


NAGRA EDIT
Ensure this is set to windows 98/me compatability (this is a must)

Options All boxes ticked
Communications error retry count 10
d2c max jump count 20
crystal 3.6864mhz

Rom 10+11
No response count out 3
No response retry count 3

make sure com port are set the same
