it says it plays

Look again, lol, it mentions MPEG4; that uses divx codec.


I have the KH6511 and the following quote from the manual is b0ll0cks, lol.

The DVD player supports USB memory sticks 1.1 and 2.0
up to a capacity of 512 MB.

I've used both a 40GB Archos 704Wifi and a play dot com 8GB flash memory stick in the USB slot with no problems.

either machine looks like a good buy if you are after a small HDMI player.

I am also intrueged with the recording to USB bit - is this trying to do a bit of a mini media centre thing?

very bad ad thats been done for this player , lm sure they would sell twice as many if they stated it played avi/divx

It says recorded from audio cd or something, not sure if that means it records?

YES you can (rip) a music cd to sd/usb cards :Clap:

strange thing is you even get a copy of nero8 with it lol i wonder why ?

maybe in the future (firmware update) u could (rip) movies to the sd/usb as well we can hope
