Have a new PS4 from Dec. 2018 any way to Mod?

I believe the firmware is 5.05 and I have not allowed it to go on the internet yet in hopes that I can do a mod similar to the Wii to allow for playing
games (ISO's ) from an external drive or whatever. Not sure if the mod development has gotten there yet but just checking..

think you can on that firmware but not used mine for about 2 years to not up to date

There are plenty of guides and tubes for running the exploit, here's one using an android phone to send it to the ps4 5.05 there are exploits for update 7.22 I think now.
