hi guys = ive got a toshiba satellite S50-B-15Q laptop, no hard drive though, the bloke i bought it from took it out...anyway it was a 1TB HDD + 8GB SSD Solid State Hybrid Drive, i know they are expensive so can i fit a normal 2.5" laptop hard drive in there...or do i need some special caddy, havnt got laptop yet gonna pick it up in a few days so what do you recommend..good spec laptop thogh..ta

Any 2.5" will fit in it without a caddy just check whether its sata 1,2 or 3.

Hi Johnny Bravo, I would check to see if he has left any caddy type part as you don't want the new hdd floating around, it looks like the original drive is a 1tb drive c/w 8gb nand flash. a sata 3 drive will be ok as it's backward compatible although I think the laptop is sata3.

Ps (sorry) you don't have to install a hybrid drive a standard 2.5 inch is fine , the 8gb nand flash just helps speed up boot time.
