hi guys, anyone know if I took the hard drive out of a bt vision box could it be formatted to FAT32 and used with my vu+ solo, just an idea before I buy a new one?

bt vision hard drives are locked and need to be hacked before you can format
I tried for about 20 mins and then tossed it in the bin

yes, seems a bit long winded erasing the drive, but ill give it a shot, 20 mins it will probably be in the bin aswell.

Erasing the drive using something like DBAN (Darik's Boot & Nuke) should do the trick.
