Other Hacked hotmail account

Friend says she's receiving emails with links in them via a friends hotmail account, problem is the friend died last year. She's asked if I know how to report it to check if it's been hacked, I don't use hotmail so not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

It's in the menu when you're logged into hotmail - 'my friends been hacked' and it will let them know
