Phone Unlocking gps on nokia phones

hey a mate of mine just bought a bluetooth gps receiver to use on his n95 with tom tom software

could you potentially use the same bluetooth gps receiver and tom tom software on any new nokia phone (interested in the 6500 slide in particular)

ok i tried this and it doesn't work cant get the installer to run on my phone. it says .sis applications not supported is there any way around this or will i have to spend some money on a GPS system???
