Morning all :)

A friend of mine enjoys long distances running, and uses an Apple iWatch 4 for tracking. She says that on many occasions it doesn't track the full run. She's tried another iWatch, with the same result.
I'm assuming that the app is one that comes with the phone, so would imagine it's been tried and tested and not at fault?
So I'm thinking maybe it's the GPS signal on that area/ route?
Is there such an app that you could take along the route, which could log any drop in signal and tell you how many times, and how long?

Cheers,
Dar :)

No idea about an app, but as you I'm think it's probably not getting a signal in those area's.
As she has "tracked" her run I imagine that it's possible to go to one of the area's where it's stopped tracking and press find my location ?
As it's the same on 2 of them then more than like no signal.

According to google she should not lose the GPS signal ? Maybe not such a Smart Watch ? or a setting ?

But hey ho the longest run I do these days is for the bog.....
