gold card probs

gold card probs, can anyone suggest solution? my sis got a PACE digi box and goldie..her card works on mine but neither hers or mine will work on her box, it keeps saying 'please insert your card'..is it the box? need a different hex?(using specialk)?could it be the aerial position? anbyone any ideas?

Don't know if the following will help.

I assume the box has been set up for the nearest transmitter (check signal strength in the menu - number 7) and stored all channels, also auto update the box may help

This might sound crazy but try the card the other way up as some stb's the card reader is reversed. Worth a try m8

thanx a lot lads, got her to bring box down and i checked evrything,seemed all AOK...only thing left to do was try card rehto way up!!!!bingo..u got it ianbbb...could i suggest in my humble ignorance that future idiotsguides include this for us slow people <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0"> lol
