Good old Nhs aye... I went in for my op at 4pm yday didn't actually get it untill 8pm...

They didnt even tell me what they had done when I came round. Found out today after ringing hospital I now have a permanent plate in my hand which I'm right fooked off about...They never even discussed the option of a permanent plate before the op and I was assured they would be using removable K wires

good to hear you are ok stef, what did they give you to eat after?

maybe try the icecream or icepops yourself, will cool and soothe your throat

luke warm water! told to eat what i want. the breakfast was porridge and a slice of bread and jam. i missed the dinner the night before and the nurse i had to eat before i got out! wtf! eat what? gruel? nhs are making more cuts i hope they cut out the poor excuse they call food!
