Getting error Opening of COM1 was successful

Hi, trying to read my boxkey using nagraedit 4.1 with an elvis but keep getting Opening of COM1 was successful
Reset failed
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing of COM1 was successful

Am powering the elvis with a 9 volt battery

as far as i know ya cant use nagraedit with an elvis m8
what type of card ya trying to read
if its a mosc ya gonna need a pheonix programmer and not an elvis in pheonix mode

Thanks for the quick reply allnighta, I am trying to read a funcard and set it up to autoupdate

you need to have another read of the instructions < donot use nagra to write to a funcard "it won't do it"
use nagra to edit the image then save it with nagra as a .bin file - then use you fun software to write to the card.
