gettin caught with gold cards

I'm just wondering if there is any chance of getting caught while using a goldcard. can u be traced if ur already paying for the minumum packege but using a goldcard or if u own ur own box n av no contract wi ondigital but use the card. Replies are much appreciated. thanks m8's

Rock, your box is a receiver, not a transmitter, it can send no signals back to I** unless you have it plugged into your phoneline.

As the guys have said, dont broadcast what you are doing and you will be ok.

There has been speculation in the past though that the STB has short term memory and so stores the channels that you watch. So in theory if you returned the STB at the end of your subscription IT\/ could check the STB and see that you have viewed channels not in your subscription package.

Honest guv, I love watching that not part of subscription screen - it helps me meditate.

I don't think a spell in a microwave would do you much good ...but a short blast with the card in the microwave should clear it...but it might also render the card useless should you change your mind and decide to keep it! <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

Martin I wouldnt suggest you put you STB in the microwave m8, you could end up causing some serious damage.

CodeComplete, I havent heard of this before but even if this is true, whats to say you havent used a mates OSC in your box which has a full subscription on it. Nothing illegal there m8.
