german image to uk image?

can somebody tell me what to do, to change a german image to work in the uk

well depends on what sort of equipment ur using should have quoted the box atleast , well the basic rule 4 all boxes would be the same ,my guess is as u mentioned german is u have got some sort of dbox or may be 2 , and yes u will have to flash a uk image if u r gona use it in uk , i am sure u will find plenty of help if u search the forums

ur gona need a null modem cable and some flashing utility , a latest image (u might wana try some diffrent 1ns ) scan 4 new chanles and all should be good

just slap on a new uk image

As above you need to say what box you have.

Some boxes can't be modified, you will have to find a UK version of the firmware. Other boxes can be modified, i.e. dbox2, dreambox.

Basically, you need to add...

UK scanning capabilities (cables.xml file)
Keys and ROMS (to decrypt the encoded channels)
An EMU (to control the key changes)

The locations of these files differ depending on what box and image you have.
