whats the difference between full and half scart ?
my tv has it and I see the new Aldi lcd has it,but I aint got a clue what the differences are

Half scart cables probably aren't RGB capable and might not have any switching pins in it. This means you can't use them on a dvd player or set-top box and are only useful for a vcr or another device that doesn't need RGB.

More info available here m8.

Yep just to sum it up further, A half scart is one that is not fully wired, just the basic video and sound

A fully wired scart has all pins connected used for RGB and data transfer

here is some info on scart leads
