been seeing these boxes popping up on ebay and they make them sound quite good auto updating basically they sound plug and play but would like real peoples opinions who arent after my money so has anybody used or are using them pros and cons compared to the dbox2

For the money, get a DBOX. These are still unstable and although work well in some areas, they can be pretty crap in others. They arent literally plug and play coz u still have to do a scan; so pretty much the same as a DBOX - in fact I wouldnt be suprised if it was a crappy clone.
