Freezing after a minute

Can anyone tell me if this is an ECM? <br />My goldcard is prog with kevlar 1.67 and every night about 6-8pm whenever i change channel it stays on for about 1 min then freezes and goes blank, surely not everyone experiences this as it's VERY annoying. Are there any tips? will different hexes work as i can't stand not being able to surf channels between the hours of approx 6-9pm or is this the norm for goldcard users (surley not). I bought a gold card months ago and it worked fine for about a month and 1/2 then it went funny so hence me buying a Elvis programmer and getting into prog cards.<br />I,m curious to know why it can work fine for such a long time, but now when i prog a card it does this freezing thing straight away.<br />I'd love to know what you guys viewing experiences are?(un-interupted viewing most nights and able to change channels freely? if so what am i doing wrong or which hexes are recommended)am i in the minority? God i'd kill for some quality veiwing time so any advice would be magic. this is a ecm m8 which was afecting kevlar 1.65 and 1.66 but since 1.67 i have not had this problem in the south ecms do also seem regional we can have ecms in the south and in the north its ok check that it is 100% kevlar 1.67 and not a earlyer one the one in our downloads is ok but as far as i know no one else is getting hit with 1.67 but others may reply to say they are but its fine in the south up until now <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

hi m8 seeing as youve got a elvis why dont you modify your original card then you have less risk of getting zapped and you can surf to your hearts content,done my first one last week no problems just look around and have a read you will find it quite interesting ....zooropa <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Thanks for taking the time guys, i,m sure the hex is kev 1.67 - maybe i aint programming the card right. When i want to reprogram a card how do you delete the files that are on? do you just overwrite it. I use the ad-tecknik mp6 software.

I have looked into modifying the original but it sounds bloody complicated, can you you point me in the direction of any plain Engish advice?

Look at "Can any kind person help" posting in this forum there is an idiots guide to doing a mosc <br />By the way i'm the idiot and i managed it, its pretty straight forward m8 Good luck.

you could always program your card with SP_K_15 or OBL in the meantime, until you work out mosc.

Where about can i get those hexs? I can't seem to be able to get into the download area? And also whats a good pbm code for getting most of the channels? i belive ppv are unavailable(not really that bothered as long as i get my footy)

Just tried twice to prog my original card as per instructions as posted in "kind person thread" but alas it doesnae work. When a got my elvis programmer i got two bits and two cables. Maybe i ain't set the thing up in the first place(bought from cardman with no instructions)

There is another thin green credit card type peice of hardware along with the main bit that the card goes in. Is this other bit inportant? Does anyone have any diagrams they could email me.<br />Cheers

M8 i got my elvis from "cardman" and ive just used the kev1.67 and it freezes after about a minute, do i need to pu codes in? and if so which months codes? When i first bought a goldcard ot was fine for ages kev1.35 but i,m getting nothing but grief now(maybe i,m not programming correct) How amny parts did you get with your elvis?

m8 been using omega190a with the elvis programmer ,has not ecm for about 9-10 days try this from the quickhex download from davidh works a teat for me
